SINOPEC Transformer Oils are manufactured through Hydrogenation Technique. This technique
improves oils performance and traditional oil refining technique. Characteristics comparison between

Hydrogenated Transformer Oils have excellent properties. Its hydrogenation technique is to improve oils characteristics by chemical modification under severe
conditions. In this technique, non-ideal groups become ideal ones. After modification process, oils viscosity-temperature characteristics and oxidation stability would
dramatically be improved. In addition, hydrogenation technique eliminates a great deal of impurities and effectively reduces active or inactive sulfides. Thus, corrosion
would be released on non-ferrous metals such as copper.
In recent years, SINOPEC Hydrogenated Transformer Oils are gradually accepted by users. SINOPEC No.25 and No.45 Transformer Oils not only meet GB2536-2003,
but also meet IEC 60296-2003. Besides, the two oils gain SIEMENS Certification and ABB Certification. SINOPEC Transformer Oils have developed its applicable
breakdown voltage from 35kV to 220kV. They are also successfully approved in the overall test of 500kV monophase-autotransformer. Famous transformer
manufacturers using SINOPEC Hydrogenated Transformer Oils had been increasing in number from 3 in 2007 to 53 in 2009. There were 15 manufacturers that have
220kV transformer capacity and 4 manufacturers that have 500kV. Some transformer manufacturers have recommend SINOPEC Hydrogenated Transformer Oils to
overseas market.
